Azure Administrators implement, manage and monitor an organization's Azure environment: identities and governance, storage, compute, virtual networks and monitoring. This course teaches those skills the way they are used at work, in a live Azure subscription, with a scenario-driven lab in every module.
You will build virtual networks and peering, deploy and resize virtual machines and scale sets, secure storage accounts, manage role-based access control and Azure Policy, back up and recover workloads, and troubleshoot connectivity. The syllabus is aligned to the AZ-104 skills-measured outline.

Before the course, complete the short prerequisite primers: Introduction to Azure Cloud Shell, Introduction to Bash, and Introduction to PowerShell. You should also understand on-premises virtualization (VMs, virtual networking, virtual hard disks), network configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, encryption), Active Directory concepts (users, groups, role-based access control), and resilience and disaster recovery (backup and restore).
