Ask
What is VMware VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation)?
VMware VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) is an advanced-level, 3-month instructor-led course that prepares you for the 2V0-17.25 exam at INFOTICS Academy. Delivery: Live online / on campus. The fee is shared individually after you apply. The next batch starts on 14 November 2026.
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 brings compute (vSphere), storage (vSAN), networking (NSX) and cloud management (VCF Operations and Automation) together into one integrated, lifecycle-managed private cloud. This program follows Broadcom's official course VMware Cloud Foundation: Build, Manage, and Secure [V9.0] and takes you from the architecture of a VCF fleet through deployment, day-2 operations and security.
You plan and deploy a VCF private cloud with the VCF Installer, stand up fleet-management components (VCF Operations for Networks and for Logs, and the Identity Broker), manage licensing and single sign-on, create and manage workload domains, build NSX networking and Virtual Private Clouds, present Fibre Channel/iSCSI/NFS and vSAN storage, manage certificates, run life cycle management (software depots, upgrades, backup and restore), and apply the platform's security, compliance and resilience features — finishing with the supported upgrade paths to VCF 9.0.

Why is VMware VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) worth it?
Banks, telecom companies and large organizations often run their data center servers on VMware.
Since Broadcom acquired VMware in 2023, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and vSphere Foundation (VVF) are its main offerings, so new projects and upgrades use them.
VCF brings compute (vSphere), storage (vSAN) and networking (NSX) together as a private cloud, a skill few engineers have.
The VMware certification exam is included in the course fee.
